Omega release new 2024 White Dial Speedmaster Moonwatch

Omega has recently unveiled a captivating addition to its esteemed Speedmaster collection, captivating enthusiasts with a novel twist on a beloved classic. The spotlight falls on the new Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional with a stunning white dial, a departure from the traditional black-dial version that has long been synonymous with the infamous timepiece.

This latest iteration was first teased by none other than Daniel Craig, famed for his portrayal of James Bond and his association with Omega as a brand ambassador. The anticipation surrounding this mysterious watch reached its peak when Craig sported the white-dialed Speedmaster at New York's Planet Omega exhibition, leaving watch aficionados eagerly awaiting its official release.

Specification & Movement:

The watch features a 42mm asymmetrical stainless steel case, complemented by a black aluminum tachymeter bezel—a hallmark of the Speedmaster lineage. Powering it is Omega's in-house Master Chronometer-certified caliber 3861 chronograph movement, visible through the transparent sapphire caseback.

The pièce de résistance lies in the glossy white lacquer adorning the dial—a first for the Moonwatch series—infusing the timepiece with an air of sophistication and modernity. Contrasting against the pristine white backdrop are black hands, with the chronograph second hand adorned with a striking red tip, and the iconic "Speedmaster" inscription at the 12:00 position on the dial.

Drawing parallels to Omega's historic "Alaska Project" Speedmaster models, designed for space exploration, this new rendition pays homage to the brand's rich heritage while pushing the boundaries of contemporary design.

White Dial Speedmaster Availability and Price:

Unlike limited editions of the past, the white-dial Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional is not confined by a restricted production run, ensuring accessibility for enthusiasts worldwide. The full metal bracelet model, reference 310.30.42.50.04.001, retails at £7,600 ($8,100), and will be readily available at Omega in the coming weeks.
